硕士研究生导师，现任心内科第二病区主任，冠心病介入治疗组组长。医疗系医学学士，介入性心脏病学硕士，心血管病学博士。曾在新加坡国家心脏中心及美国Mayo医学中心留学。
从事心血管内科临床工作，有扎实的理论基础和丰富的临床经验，熟练处理心血管专业的危重病人和疑难病人。擅长于冠心病、心瓣膜疾病的诊断和治疗。在冠心病支架植入术和二尖瓣狭窄球囊扩张术治疗方面有着丰富的经验和手术技巧。
主要研究方向为应用分子生物学方法研究急性冠脉综合症的发病机理，研究冠状动脉粥样斑块的稳定性，防治动脉粥样斑块早期破裂。
曾在国内外杂志发表论文20余篇，曾担任2项广东省重点攻关项目的主要成员，主持广东省自然科学基金、广东省科技计划项目各1项和广东省卫生厅科研项目2项。荣获广东省科技进步二等奖1次。
Dr. Zhang Bin is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the Guangdong Provincial Cardiovascular Institute (GPCI). He is also the head of 2nd section of department of Cardiology, a chief of the team of percutaneous coronary intervention therapy.
He received his Medical Bachelor degree in 1988, and Master degree (Interventional cardiology) in 1997 and phD in 2004 from GPCI. He started his cardiology training in the Department of Cardiology, GPCI in 1994 and went for advanced one-year-Fellowship training in Cardiology (Interventional cardiology) in National Heart Centre of Singapore in 2000. He studied in Mayo Clinic in U.S.A in 2004 as a visiting scholar.
